Winona State University’s Film Studies program is hosting a Short Film Contest as part of the Digital Humanities: A Film Series being held this fall.
All Winona State University students are invited to create and submit short films based on the 2016-17 University Theme, “Our Digital Humanity.”
The winner will receive a $100 gift card to Winona State Bookstore. All finalists will have the opportunity to show their films as part of the Digital Humanities: A Film Series, being held from Oct. 27 through the 31.
Submission guidelines for films must include the following: all films must connect to the University Theme, each film can be no longer than 15 minutes, live-action, animation, documentary, narrative and non-narrative films welcome. Content must be appropriate to community standards, and file formats must be Mp4, .Mov, or MKV.
Films can be submitted via Google Drive to wsufilmfest@gmail.com. The last day to submit films is Friday, Oct. 14.
