The Winona State University Art and Design Department will sponsor YOU | I: Interfaces & Reader Experience Sept. 22 through Oct. 14 in the Paul Watkins Art Gallery, Watkins Hall.
The nine works of art in this exhibition have been selected to express the unique ways in which interfaces can impact reader experience and the relationship readers have with the stories told through them.
The exhibition curator, Dene Grigar, will give a tour of the exhibition from 4-5 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5. A reception at the gallery will follow from 5-6 p.m. These events are open to the public.
Gallery hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays. The exhibit and events are free and open to the public.
This exhibition is part of WSU’s 2016-17 Digital Humanities Theme as well as the upcoming iDMAa (International Digital Media Arts Association) conference occurring on campus Oct. 5-8.
Artists featured include John Barber, Matthew Mosher, Stephanie Strickland, Ian Hatcher, Alan Bigelow, Serge Bouchardon, Pièrre Fourny, Guilliame Jacquemin, Luc Dall Armellina, Hé’lène Caubel, Talan Memmott, Aaron Tucker, Jordan Scott, Tiffany Cheung, Namir Ahmed, Aaron Reed, Jacob Garbe, Amaranth Borsuk and Brad Bouse.
