Winona State University’s Senior University will host Election 2016: Follow the Money from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays, Oct. 20 through Nov. 10, in Maxwell Hall, room 257.
This course will analyze the 2016 presidential, congressional and state elections. It will examine the role of political parties in American politics and answer questions about information, decision-making, and the role of money in campaigns and political parties.
Instructor James Bromeland taught in the Political Science Department at WSU for 35 years, specializing in American politics.

Senior University is open to all people of retirement age in the Winona community. The program is a series of non-credit short courses that are peer-led by WSU faculty, retirees and community members. The goal is to provide intellectual and cultural stimulation and growth for lifelong learners. Courses cover events, history, philosophy, science, art, poetry and literature.
