The Department of Theatre & Dance (THAD) at Winona State University (WSU) will present “A Tuna Christmas” by Jason Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, through Sunday, Nov. 22, in the Dorothy B. Magnus Theatre in the WSU Performing Arts Center.
This comic romp is the second in the Greater Tuna series and features two actors (Adam Calcagno and Brad Krieger) playing 10 characters each. The plot centers on the annual Christmas Yard Display Contest in Tuna, Texas, and a mysterious Phantom that is rigging the contest by destroying contestants’ entries. Filled with quick costume changes, ridiculous situations and lovable characters, “A Tuna Christmas” will put you in the holiday spirit.
“A Tuna Christmas” is directed by Heather Williams-Williams.
