Winona State University will host “Warrior Debate: Free Speech for People (But NOT for Students)” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in the Phelps TV Studio.
Audience members will have the chance to vote before and after the debate on their view of the question: “Should the university regulate symbolic speech?”
This Oxford-style debate will feature four people, two on each side of the issue, and a moderator. Each person will be allotted a set amount of time to argue his or her point. There will also be a time for questions from the audience.
