The Winona State University Department of Music will host a variety of events to look forward to during the month of November.
Upcoming events include WSU Orchestra at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, in the Performing Arts Center Vivian Fusillo Theatre; Honor Band Festival Concert at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 7, in the Vivian Fusillo Theatre; Symphonic Wind Ensemble at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 8, in the Vivian Fusillo Theatre; Honor Jazz Band Festival Nov. 13 and 14: Jazz Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, in the Vivian Fusillo Theatre; Winona Oratorio Chorus at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, at the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart; String Ensemble at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, in the Performing Arts Center Recital Hall; Anishinaabe music, as part of the International Music Series, with Lyz Jaakola at 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in the Recital Hall; Student Music Recital featuring Angela Whitcomb at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, in the Recital Hall; and WSU Jazz Combos at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23, in Kryzsko Commons.
