Winona State University’s Adult Continuing Education Department will host “Working with the Bereaved: A Contemporary Look at Grief and Loss,” a workshop for professionals and students in healthcare and helping professions, Sept. 25-26 on the WSU Winona campus.
The workshop will explore the holistic impact of grief, developmental considerations across the lifespan, and factors that lead to resiliency after loss in a two-day workshop. An overview of contemporary models of the grief process will be provided, as well as clinical interventions for direct work with individuals and groups.
Check-in begins at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, and class will begin at 4 p.m. in the IWC.
