The new Winona State University Outdoor Education & Recreation Center will host weekly outings open to the community starting this fall.
Open Rock Climbing on Sugarloaf will take place every Tuesday starting at 4 p.m. All equipment and instruction is provided at no cost. No experience is necessary, and climbing is on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Open Paddling on the backwaters of the Mississippi River will take place every Thursday at 4 p.m. Boats, paddles, and flotation devices are provided free of charge. Open Paddling will take place at a new location each week.
