UntitledWinona State University will sponsor the sustainability initiative “Don’t Dump – Donate!” through May 10 on and off campus.

WSU’s Residence Housing Association will provide boxes in each campus residence hall and Kryzsko Commons to encourage students to donate gently used items as they pack up for the summer. Unwanted items will be donated to local Winona charities. Off-campus students are also encouraged to donate.

Items being collected include: Non-perishable food; plates and dishes; toiletries; blankets, sheets and pillows; clothes; electronics; lamps; desks; and office supplies.

Students living off campus are also encouraged to donate new or gently used items. Multiple organizations in Winona will have donation sites during the last few weeks of the school year.
