Winona State University will host a film screening of “The Hunting Ground” at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, in the Stark Hall Auditorium.
“The Hunting Ground” tackles issues of sexual violence and rape at a collegiate level as it profiles the lives of young women trying to change the landscape around these issues. The film encourages students to take an active role on campus to end sexual violence for everyone.
There will be an open discussion following the film. The screening is sponsored by the Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies department and Fighting for Our Rights and Gender Equality (FORGE).
