Winona State University will host fiction writer Abby Geni at 5 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, in Science Laboratory Center Room 120.
Geni will read from her collection of short stories, “The Last Animal,” which won the Friends of America Writers Literary Award and was a finalist for the Orion Book Prize for Fiction. The event is free and open to the public.
Geni is also scheduled to meet with WSU students from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 19 in Minne Hall 358 and from 10 to 11 a.m. Feb. 20 in Minne Hall 241.
