Winona State University will host a community meeting from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, in the Student Activities Center, lower level Kryzsko Commons. (View campus map.)
The meeting will open with an introduction by WSU President Scott R. Olson. The agenda will include discussions on community engagement, campus housing, the proposed baseball field partnership at Lake Park, and the campus master planning process, as well as updates on Education Village and the Pedestrian Tunnels project. Various WSU representatives will be on hand to answer questions.
Guided tours of the newly renovated wing of Kryzsko Commons will be available starting at 5 p.m.
In addition, attendees of the meeting can get free tickets to the 7 p.m. men’s basketball game as a show of appreciation for the community’s support. Join President Olson to watch the Warriors take on the Clarke Crusaders (Dubuque, Iowa).
The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
Public parking is available in Gold Lots 1, 2 and 3. (View campus parking map.) Visitors are asked to enter through the south doors of Kryzsko Commons.
