Winona State University announces the selection of the spring 2014 Commencement processional banner carriers.
The students honored as processional banner carriers are top-ranking juniors and will carry the banners of their respective colleges during the Commencement ceremonies.
Mitchell Zastrow, a sociology: criminal justice/law enforcement-loss prevention major from Arcadia, Wis., will lead the Commencement processional with the WSU banner at the morning ceremony. Sumar Quint, a biochemistry major from Eau Claire, Wis., will lead the processional at the afternoon ceremony.
Also carrying banners are: Dominick Sweeney, an economics and business administration major from West Salem, Wis., College of Business; Aleyna Hunt, a sociology major from Stacy, Minn., College of Liberal Arts; Kirsten O’Dea, an elementary education with early childhood emphasis major from Stillwater, Minn., College of Education; Alisha Bruner, an exercise and rehabilitative science: movement science major from Saint Bonifacius, Minn., College of Nursing and Health Sciences; and Callie Gustafson, a biology: cell and molecular major from Victoria Minn., College of Science and Engineering.
