Winona State University geoscience professor Jennifer Anderson will present “When Night Becomes Day: Light Pollution and the Loss of Our Night Sky” at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 27, at the Winona County History Center.
Anderson will discuss the growing problem of light pollution, focusing on the Winona area and how to preserve the natural resource of the night sky.
This event is open to members of the Winona Learning Club.
