Winona State University will present Zest Fest 3-5 p.m. Wednesday, March 5, in the Science Laboratory Center Atrium.
The event is designed to provide free stress relief to WSU students during midterms week.
Exercise science major Holly French said stress management is important because stress that is not handled well can affect many parts of a college student’s life.
“It can throw off our sleep schedules, make us eat considerably less or more, or cause our emotions to go haywire. Being able to recognize when stress is building up is crucially important as well as dealing with it right when it comes, not letting it spiral out of control,” French said.
There will be “minute to win it” games, face painting, prizes, free food, as well as many other games and activities.
Zest Fest is sponsored by the Integrated Wellness Complex and Outdoor Education and Recreation Center.
