The Winona State University National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) and Residence Housing Association (RHA) hosted the fundraiser “You Light Up My Life” to donate to Toys for Tots.
The NRHH and RHA raised nearly $1,000 over a four-day period from students living in the residence halls. Students who donated at least $4 received a strand of lights to hang in their window and were invited to participate in an all-campus lighting Dec. 5 to show the unity and sense of community that WSU values.
Donations to Toys for Tots are still being collected in the donation bins around the WSU campus. Toys for Tots is a non-profit charity conducted by the United States Marine Corps Reserve.
