Winona State University will present “Adventures with John James Audubon” 4-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, in the Miller Auditorium, Stark Hall room 103.
Brian “Fox” Ellis brings history and literature to life in this interpretation of Audubon.
Audubon focuses on the local bird behavior and follows the annual migrations of birds throughout North America in the 1820s and 30s.
Learn lessons on field ecology, the scientific method, art history and bird migration. Audience participation and discussion is encouraged.
A casual reception and a chance to meet with Ellis will follow the presentation in the Darrell W. Krueger Library.
