The Winona State University Department of Theatre and Dance will present “Peter Pan” at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 10; 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11; at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 12, in the Main Stage of the Performing Arts Center.
This Theatre For Young Audiences production follows J.M. Barrie’s classic tale of a boy who never grows up and has many adventures in Neverland with the Darling children and his band of lost boys. Along the way the children encounter many obstacles and battles with the infamous Captain Hook.
This will be Director Vivian Fusillo’s final production at WSU, as she will retire after more than 40 years at the university.
In addition to the public performances, matinees for area elementary schools will be held at 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Oct. 8-11.
