The Winona State University Foundation will host a 50th Anniversary Gala Friday, Sept. 20, in Lourdes Hall.
The Gala will take place 5:30-10:30 p.m. and include a social hour, dinner, program and dance featuring the Rich MacDonald & Friends 10-piece Big Band.
Since the Foundation’s humble beginning in 1963, members of the Foundation Board have shared a conviction that academic excellence needs encouragement and financial support. The Foundation exists to foster and support the advancement of Winona State University and through its work to benefit a multi-faceted and diverse population of individuals and groups. Special emphasis is placed on scholarship awards to students among other progressing initiatives.
The Gala is open to the public. Cost to attend is $75 per person. The event is black-tie optional with purple attire encouraged.
