Winona State University’s Department of Music will present a recital by the WSU Chamber Ensemble featuring chamber music for winds at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23, in the Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center.
The program will include performances by the Saxophone Quartet, Clarinet Quartet and the Flute Choir.
The Clarinet Quartet will perform “French Suite” by Yvonne Desportes. The Saxophone Quartet will perform “Sud America” by Lino Florenzo and “Lyric Suite” by William Grant Still. The Flute Choir will perform “Swing Low, Sweet Chariot” arranged by Ricky Lombardo, “Firestorm” arranged by Adrian Sandborn and “Dawn of Peace” arranged by Mark Pope.
The recital is free and open to the public.
