Winona State University will host the 2013 Eighth Grade Science Day between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 10.
This event will educate 230 8th grade students about the wonders of science through a series of sessions covering physics, geology, biology, chemistry and computer science. The line-up includes: Sound, Lasers, Power it Up, Soil Invertebrates, What’s in The bottle?, Meth Lab Discovery, Mobile app, Flume Lab, Liquid Nitrogen, Microscopes, and Optics.
The event is organized by Gary Shields from the WSU Physics Department.
