Winona State University will host “STEM in the Real World” from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, March 6, in the Science Laboratory Center.

More than 500 high school students will take part in over 20 hands-on workshops led by faculty from the College of Science & Engineering, exploring real-world applications across STEM fields.

The event also includes a session in Winona State’s Climbing Center, one of the largest university climbing walls in the Midwest. Led by Mike Henderson and hosted by the College of Education, the activity encourages students to build confidence while having fun

In addition, the College of Business will offer a new Professional Sales session led by marketing professor Ryan White, highlighting how STEM skills translate into career pathways.
