Students at WSU

Winona State University continues to be recognized as one of the “Best in the Midwest” in The Princeton Review’s annual “2015 Best Colleges: Region by Region.”

The list of regional best colleges is selected based on survey data regarding academic excellence and student experience.

“There’s a reason WSU has consistently been named among the best in the Midwest for the past 11 years,” said Barbara Oertel, associate vice president for enrollment services at Winona State. “Not only does WSU lead our region with innovative, high-quality academic programming that serves our students and our communities, we are a student-centered university, focused on student success, and constantly evolving to meet the needs of the 21st century learner.”

The regional best colleges identified by The Princeton Review represent only about 25 percent of the nation’s 2,500 four-year colleges. WSU is one of seven Minnesota schools on the list and is the only member of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system to receive the designation.
