“The social work department at Winona State University has been accredited by the Council on Social Work Education for thirty years,” said Cathy Faruque, department chair. “We offer our students the opportunity to be engaged in the community through various learning activities, including engaged learning in the classroom and agency-based internships. Social work students learn the values, skills and knowledge necessary to attain licensed and secure positions as social work practitioners.”

The College Database used data from the Integrated Post-secondary Education Data System, the National Center for Education Statistics and Carnegie Classification.

Universities were ranked based on reputation, facilities and educational opportunities. Qualifying schools must be 4-year, fully accredited, public or private, not-for-profit colleges in the United States.
