The Winona State University Malaysian Student Association and Cricket Club will host the Malaysian Cultural Food Fair at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19, in the Student Activities Center, lower level Kryzsko Commons.

The event will feature traditional Malaysian food, which is influenced by Malay, Indonesian, Chinese, Thai and Arabian culinary styles.

There will be two different meal sets to choose from. The first is a non-spicy option that includes Bak Kut Teh—a pork stew, vegetables and white rice. The other spicy option will include Tandoori Chicken and Biryani rice. Each meal will include a drink and Biskut Saran Semut—traditional Malaysian cookies—for dessert.

Tickets will be available for $5 leading up to the event, and will be sold outside of the Jack Kane Dining Center from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily. Tickets will also be sold at the event for $6.
