PosterThe Winona State University Department of Music will host a student composition lecture with music student Seth Lilly at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in the Recital Hall of the Performing Arts Center.

Lilly will talk about pop culture and how the arts have influenced his music. He will discuss and analyze composers, authors and pop culture elements that have inspired his writing. Lilly will perform solo and ensemble musical works written by him for piano, marimba, marimba and percussion duet, and percussion ensemble of 11 plays.

The recital will last about 80 minutes, with a reception in the lobby providing food and beverages.

This recital is free and open to the public.
