WSU-2013-Science-FairWinona State University will host the Regional Science and Engineering Fair Friday, March 1, in East Hall, Kryzsko Commons.

The science fair will feature posters, papers and oral presentations by more than 150 area students in grades 5-12. In addition to presenting their work, attending students will participate in science activities organized by WSU faculty. Senior level students from WSU will participate as judges and volunteers, and assist with science demonstrations and activities. Projects will be judged from 10 a.m.-Noon and 1-3 p.m. The fair is open to the public from 3-4 p.m.

An awards ceremony will take place from 7-8:30 p.m. Many prizes will be awarded, including an all-expense-paid trip to the International Science Fair in Phoenix, Ariz.
