The Winona State University Outdoor Education and Recreation Center will sponsor a National Outdoor Leadership School-Wilderness Medicine Institute first aid course Saturday, Jan. 12, to Sunday, Jan. 13 at Winona State.

This introductory course will examine skills and tools needed when faced with a difficult medical decision in remote settings.

The course fee is $210. Register online, in the Outdoor Education and Recreation Office (Integrated Wellness Complex 140) or by calling 507-457-2620.

No previous first aid training is required. This course is open to the public. Participants must be 16 to attend this course.
